Writing the True Self

Caring Responsibility

If you care enough to do it, take responsibility for it. Just have the Write Attitude. The fifth attitude, "Caring Responsibility" helps a student account for his writing, care about the consequences, and take further action. He should check in with the audience and orient style and tone to their expectations. In order to attain lucid, understandable prose, he optimizes the spelling, grammar, paragraphing, transitions, and presentation. From the beginnings of purpose in the right form emerged an interesting, clear, and insightful essay. Finally, the student determines what his responsibility is moving forward. What he learned writing essays can transfer not only to other writing classes, but also to his life, career, and sense of self.
